Why should I order through ELMACON?

How does ELMACON go about selecting a manufacturer, what is important?
  • In order to ensure the conformity and reliability of the components delivered to our customers, we only represent suppliers who live quality assurance systems and have implemented defined organisational structures and procedures for the implementation of quality assurance.
  • It is very important to us that our manufacturers also contribute to achieving the sustainability goals. In doing so, we ensure compliance with appropriate standards and conformities.
  • A basic prerequisite is also our permanent endeavour to create a partnership-based, appreciative and trusting relationship with our manufacturers.
Which certificates does ELMACON hold?

ELMACON is certified according to EN ISO 9001:2015.

ELMACON has several addresses, how do I find the right address?

ELMACON has two locations, Schondorf and Eresing. The head office and billing address is in Schondorf. Our operational offices are located in Eresing. This location is both the delivery and visitor address. Here again at a glance.

What are your business hours?

We are usually available from 9am to 6pm. For urgent matters, however, our service is also guaranteed via call diversion or an alternative telephone number, which you can find in our announcement on the answering machine.

Who looks after me as a client?

You will usually be supervised by two staff members who will be your constant companions and constant contacts.

Do I have to take into account price fluctuations due to shortages or changes in exchange rates?
(e.g. for long-term forward orders)

We offer competitive cost and supply structures, always strive for the most stable prices possible and the best possible service – even with currency fluctuations and in tense allocation phases.

What is ELMACON's position on sustainability?

We have a high standard of sustainability. This extends along the entire supply chain – starting with our manufacturers, on the way to us, at ELMACON itself and on the way to our customers.

The cornerstones of what we do include using resources sparingly, living quality assurance systems, economic processes, sustainable growth and adherence to compliance guidelines.

Is ELMACON owned by third parties or is ELMACON an independent company?

ELMACON is a limited liability company and an independent company.

Can I purchase your products as a private end consumer?

Our focus is on commercial customers and project business, but we also try to support end customers if necessary.

Where can I find product data sheets?

A product data sheet for your reference can be found in most cases in the product section on our homepage, by clicking on the respective product or product series.
In any case, we will be happy to provide you with the latest data sheet as part of your enquiry. Please feel free to contact us using the enquiry form in the Advice & Support section, by email or by telephone.

Can I obtain one or more samples from ELMACON?

Of course, we will be happy to provide you with samples. If required, you will also receive the associated test protocols. Therefore, please feel free to contact us via the sample order form in the Advice & Support section, by email or by phone.

How much does a sample cost?

Depending on stockpiling and procurement costs, samples can be offered free of charge or at realistic prices, especially for specific, communicated projects.

What quantities can I order from you?

We support you throughout the entire project life cycle – from quantity 1 in the sampling phase to volume quantities and back to “spare part quantities”, even after “EOL” (End of Life).

How can I place an order with ELMACON?

You have several possibilities to place an order / enquiry with us. Either via our contact form in the Advice & Support section, by email (info@elmacon.de), by fax or also by telephone.

What information should I provide so that my order with ELMACON can be processed as quickly as possible?

We need your contact details (incl. email address, tax number / VAT ID), item number and quantity of the desired product, call-off intervals if applicable and your delivery address.

Is there a minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

As this is item-specific, please feel free to contact us with your order request / enquiry. We will be happy to clarify this for you individually.

Can I also order goods that are not to be found on the ELMACON website / special items?

An excerpt of the manufacturer’s ranges is shown on the website and serves as a first impression for you. Please feel free to contact us for your individual enquiries. We will be happy to advise you and provide you with the right product proposal for your application.

How do I receive my order confirmation?

You will receive an order confirmation from us by email.

Can I place a call order?

Yes, you are welcome to place a call-off order with us – we will take care of the individual deliveries on schedule and in the correct quantities.

Is there a minimum order quantity for call-off orders?

This may be the case depending on the manufacturer. Please feel free to contact us in this regard.

Can I place an appointment order online?

No, but we are happy to be there for you personally and individually via the contact form, by email or by phone.

Can you offer me special prices for very high quantities?

Yes, because we always calculate the best price for you, whether high volumes or smaller quantities.

Can the goods be allocated and how does ELMACON proceed?

In times of allocation, you benefit from our carefully selected manufacturer network and our long-term relationship with these partners, who support us with absolute preference even in difficult market phases.

Do I have to take into account price fluctuations due to shortages or changes in exchange rates?

Order processing (logistics /
Shipping / Returns / Payment).

How much are the shipping costs?

Depending on the project constellation and order size, we offer either free delivery or delivery against a small cost contribution.

Will I receive a shipment notification? Can I track my order?

We will also be happy to provide you with the tracking number of your shipment when the goods are dispatched. In the Services section of our website, you will find a link to the tracking pages of our standard forwarding agents, where you can use the tracking number provided by us and thus track your shipment.

How long is the delivery time?

The delivery time depends on whether it is a stock item or a back-to-back item. For stock items within Germany and the EU, you can expect a delivery time of 2-3 days after receipt of order. In exceptional cases, deviations may occur.

How is the shipment of the goods insured?

The shipment of your goods is insured through our separate transport insurance as well as through the carrier itself.

Can I also pick up the ordered goods?

You are also welcome to visit us and pick up the goods at our location in Eresing.

Can the goods be allocated and what is the procedure for this?

In times of allocation, you benefit from our carefully selected manufacturer network and our long-term relationship with these partners, who support us with absolute preference even in difficult market phases.

What do I do in the event of a return?

We have very high standards for our products and our service – but mistakes are human. In the event of a complaint, please contact us by telephone, email or contact form, stating the reason for the complaint. Subsequently, the processing is carried out either by ourselves or directly by the manufacturer.

What payment methods are available to me?

You can either transfer the invoice amount to us via IBAN or send it via PayPal.
